School is over and it's time to plan for next year. What do you want to accomplish with your homeschool next year? Now is the time to prepare. What worked this year in your homeschool? What should be changed - in curriculum, schedule, support?
In order to aid your planning process, Exploring Homeschooling has assembled some local support groups to introduce both the types of groups available and some specific resources currently available for the upcoming school year. These resources and others like them can supplement your core homeschooling plans and goals.
Join us this month as Elements Bible Study, Integrity Christian School, and Biola Youth Academics representatives discuss their individual programs and the opportunities that will support you and your children in your homeschool experience. You will learn about:
- What is a PSP and what does one provide for you and your children?
- How do you join a PSP and which one is right for you?
- Should your kids take classes outside of the house? If so, which classes should you pay for them to take?
- What classes are being offered with these three organizations?
- Can you join a group that offers both Bible study and homeschool classes at the same time?
- What extra resources do these three organizations (and others like them) offer to the homeschool community?
If you think you would benefit from resources and services provided by local support groups, don't miss this month's meeting. Learn what groups and resources are out there and be prepare for this coming school year. Invite a friend to come (with their spouse) - they'll be glad you did!
